Ticketor FAQs
How does Ticketor compare to other ticketing systems?
Ticketor is a white-label, fully branded, online ticketing system and box-office solution that has been around for over a decade. It supports a wide range of features and adds new ones on a regular basis. Some of these features are unique and very useful, such as self-service ticket upgrades, seat changes, date changes, exchanges or returns, which are not commonly found in most platforms. The pricing of Ticketor is also competitive, with their Premium plan being maybe 3 to 4 times lower than other platforms with a fraction of Ticketor’s features. Moreover, Ticketor gives you credit for their fees when you refund tickets and they charge based on the amount that you charge, meaning that when you give a discount or issue comp tickets, you are charged based on the discounted amount. This is a nice surprise as many other ticketing systems do not refund their fees and some even charge extra for refunds or exchanges. The user interface of Ticketor is user-friendly and easy to navigate, with on-screen walk-throughs and help buttons that make it easy for new box-office staff to learn the site without much training. In addition, Ticketor has a website builder feature that allows you to easily update the site content using a Word-like editor and to create nice-looking animated banners or to add new pages, blog, news or text and graphic content.
Can I use my own payment gateway with Ticketor?
Yes, you can use your own payment gateway with Ticketor. If you already have a merchant account that can process online transactions, you can most probably use your own payment processor. If your payment processor is not in the list of supported payment processors, you may still be able to use it. Most payment processors are compatible with Authorize.net gateway. You can contact your payment processor and ask them to set up an Authorize.net gateway for you. However, remember that it may be cheaper and faster to get a new Stripe account instead. You can get a payment processor compatible with Authorize.net at a low rate. Ticketor is compatible with the following payment processors: Stripe, Square, Braintree, and Authorize.net.
